At Novus Diamonds, we understand that great things start with small consistent steps. Our journey began in 1979, in Toronto, as a small diamond operation that provided cutting and polishing job work for other diamond merchants. Jack Mimar took the first step, setting up the family’s first unit with a couple of single cut machines and a handful of people. After a decade of hard work, perseverance, and patience, our parent company MDL DIAMONDS finally established offices in Toronto and Belgium. The next generation of leaders took the reins, and since then, we have experienced rapid growth.
